What's Magnifier?

Magnifier is a small utility that enlarges any image on your desktop.

Main Features include:

1. Enlarges whatever is on your screen. Simply put your cursor over what you want to enlarge.
2. Gamma Correction feature to brighten dark images without losing detail.
3. Unlimited enlargment capability.
4. Save to file feature to save what you're viewing.
5. Freeware. No fee for non commercial use.
6. Easy to use and install.

Installation Instructions:

When downloading, make a note of where you store the file you receive. That way you can find it later.

Unzip the .zip file, put it somewhere, click to run the program.

This software runs under Windows.

Usage instructions are in the about box. Here's what's in there:

Put cursor over top of something you want to see larger

LEFT in the display window options:
Left 1/3 of screen: Reduce 25%
Right 1/3 of screen: Enlarge 25%
Center of screen: Reset to 100%

RIGHT click options:
Reset to 100%

Pressing a key while the magnfier is active will:

Key Action
A Show About
S Save to File
P Pause
R Resume
Z Change Settings
B Gamma Correct Brighter
D Gamma Correct Darker
+ Enlarge 25%
= Enlarge 25%
- Reduce 25%
Space bar = Back to 100%
